FAT INJECTION

Fat injection is an aesthetic method that takes place by injecting the patient's own fat tissue back into the body after special procedures.

APPLICABLE REGIONS

Fat tissue taken from around the belly, buttocks, thighs or under the chin is injected into the areas to be filled after the procedure. It is also used to remove wrinkles on the face, thicken lips, define cheekbones and breast augmentation. However, fat injection may require regular sessions for permanence.

INJECTION METHOD

In fat injection, fat tissue is first removed through a small 3-4 mm incision. This fat tissue is then prepared with special procedures and injected into the desired areas through injectors. The procedure usually takes 30-60 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia. Leftover oils from the process can be stored for use when needed.

RECOVERY PROCESS

The fat injection procedure does not require hospitalization. The patient can return home the same day. Edema and bruising may occur in the first few days, but usually do not interfere with daily life.

PERMANENCE

The permanence of fat injection depends on the method used and the shape of the procedure. Thanks to the devices developed today, fat cells can remain viable for longer. However, permanence may vary from person to person.
